Angela Evelyn Bassett, an American actress, is known for her roles in film and television since the late 1980s. Bassett was raised in Winston-Salem North Carolina, raised by an aunt in New York New York. Bassett relocated with her older sister St. Petersburg Florida at five years old to be near their mother, who was separated from their father. Bassett was a fan of James Earl Jones in John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men play when she was at high school and decided that it was acting she wanted to do. After graduating from Yale University New Haven Connecticut in the year 1980, she earned a Bachelor's Degree of African American Studies, she continued to pursue the Master's degree (1983) at the Yale School of Drama. While at Yale she came across Courtney B. Vance a actress who was a friend of hers. They got married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. The Yale School of Drama granted a Master of Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Basssett in the year. The school she attended was the school following: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for 7th graders, Azalea Middle School for 8th and 9th grades as well as Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the principal parts in the action film i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).
